Horrible Experiences of a Miner.

(P9r Press Asociatkm.) Sydney, This Day. A miner named Martell had a sensational experience at Bombala. He was walking through a tunnel when the earth collapsed and completely buried him. Fortunately a crack in the earth admitted air, and he managed with a pocket I knife to clear the dirt from his mouth sufficiently to allow of his breathing. He was penned in this position for 26 hours, and his suffering was so great that he several times unsuccessfully attempted to cut his throat with his knife. His two eons, who were searching for their father, walked on the heap ot earth, and he managed to attract their attention. Having obtained assistance, ths man was rescued from his perilous position and is now recovering.
