Pupil Teachers' Salaries.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, February 26. The question of increasing the payment of pupil and ex-pupil teachers was referred to the Education Board to-day by the Chairman, who said that considering the condition of the Board's funds, also considering the pupil teachers under the Board were more liberally dealt with than those under any other Education Board, he failed to see how th.c Board could grand any sum beyond £43, for girls and iso for males per year. He moved thosd amounts should not ba Increased upon: any consideration whatever, and this waS agreed to. ■ ••*-
