Melbourne, February 26. Betting was fairly brisk during the day. There was a great run on Maluma, bring her down to 100 to 8. Solauum also hardened to 100 to 6. The Admiral and Enchanter were scratched for the Australian Cup, and Newman and Aquarius for the Champion Stakes.
