O (Per Press Association) Sydney, Feb. 25. The Cricket Association has rejected resolutions seeking to abolish the Australasian Cricket Council, and substituting a proposal that the three colonies be conjointly invited to manage the next English team that visits Australia. Melbourne. February 25. The manager of the Australian Eleven (Mr H. Musgrove) is in receipt of letters asking the team to play a match at Colombo and three in Philadelphia. Both invitations have been accepted. The return match between teams representing the Feilding State School boys and the apprentices and runners employed at the Feilding Star office took place on the Feilding Cricket Club's ground yesterday afternoon, and resulted in a win lor the latter by 55 runs. Following are the scores : —Star —A. Toy 26, Wells 25, Foster 9, Saxon 6, Cope, stake 8, Bray 0, Garlick 6, Evans 0, Marston 3, Toy 3; extras, 20 ; total, 101. State School— Beattie 0, Bellve 14, Moore 0, Haybittle 6, Trevena 6, Bartholomew 6, Watts 2, Gie^en 2, Mandahl 0, Sandilands 4, Woolven 1 ; extras, 5 ; total 46. The Stars played one short and two substitutes.
