Lawn Tennis.
The Palrnerston North lawn tennis team journeyed to Feilding on Saturday to play a return match with the latter club. After several exciting games the visitors succeeded in scoring 120 to 90, and thus won the match. In the singles Feilding won by two games, but principally due to their not practising together they lost the match. The individual scores shown below speak for themselves, and show that practice in the doubles is greatly needed. The afternoon, however, was very pleasant, and thanks are due to the ladies who provided refreshments. The following are the scores : — Palmeeston. Feilding. singles.
