TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Up to the present " The powers that be " have made no movein the way of providing a train- excursion for the children attending the Feilding State School. As the summer season is now almost over, if they are intending to give a treat to the children, there is not much time to lose. Palmerston I notice had one yesterday. Why is it Feilding is always behind hand in such matters ? I am, etc., Parent. Feilding, February 13tb, 1896.
