A Mad Bull Amongst a Mob of Horses.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Feb. 7. One day this week a bull, belonging to someone unknown, swam across the Hutt » river and entered a field, where seven horses belongmg to the Gear Company were grazing. He attacked and killed or badly gored the wholeof them. Three were found dead ripped open, and another desperately injured. One had its chest torn open, and the other two escaped with wounds in the flank, sh6w& they had a narrow escape of being dis? cmbowelled too. The damage done to the animals will be covered by "£IOO.
