Hawke's Bay Ram Fair.

(Per Press Association) Napiee, January 31. The Ram Fair to day was well attended and there was good competition for superior sheep, but anything not first class was neglected, consequently the flock rams were almost unsaleable, the highest prices realised being 3£ guineas for Lincolns from Fleming's flock, Waver ley. When the stud rams came on things livened considerably. Matthew Holmes (Oamaru) got from 15 to 45 guineas for his Lincolns. Wilson (Waverlcy) from 19 to 41 guineas. John Reid (Oamaru) from 10 to 51 guineas. New Zealand and Australian Laud Company from 8 to 20 guineas. Excutors of Lacy (Oamaru) 10 to 80 guineas. Fred Sutton (Southland) 7 to 26 guineas. J. B. Sutton (Southland) 8 to I' 2£ guineas. There was no demand for anything but Lincolns. ______________
