WELLINGTON TROTTING CLUB.
(Per Press Association.) ♦ Wellington, January SO. A meeting of the Wellington Trotting Club was held to-night when the stewards discussed the alleged " ringing-in " of Florence at the Miramar Meeting last 1 week. It was decided to make further inquiries before taking action. The stewards also intend to investigate the rumor current that a Sydney horse named Vanclisse, which competed at the Club's previous meeting, had raced in Sydney under another name. The Club cleared £120 by the late meeting.
