Serious Bush Fires in the North.

o (Per Press Association.) Auckland, January 29. Bush fires are raging in the Kamo district, and the stores of Wilber and Cleary, at Puhipuhi, and Peter Hansen, at Hukrenue, have been burned down. Several narrow escapes are reported. It is reported that the Ruhipuhi kauri forest is on fire in several places, and that the fire is covering over ten miles of country, and doing great damage to the kauri trees.
