Breaches of the Beer Duty Act.
A BREWER HEAVILY FINED. (Per Press Association.) Pahiatua, January 29. Henry Wagstaff, a brewer, of Mangatainoko, was charged with breaches of the Beer Duty Act. On the first charge he was fined £75, on the second £10, and on the third £75. The brewing plant was confiscated. Another charge will be heard.
