The Stock Market.

Messrs Gorton and Son report on their stock sale at Feilding yesterday, as follows : — ' Cattle and sheep mustered in excess of advertised numbers. Cattle were slow of sale, and nearly all were turned out unsold. Sheep, however, maintained late rates, and we cleared all bnt one pen. We quote : — Cattle— Fat cows, £4 7s 6d ; store cows, £3 to £3 2s 6d ; 2|.yr steess, £8 8s 6d ; weaners, 23s to 275. ' Sheep — Fat and good wethers, 8s 9d; store wethers, 6s 6d to 7s lOd ; forward ewes, 4s 5d to 4s 7d ; fat ewes, 5s 6d ; woolly mixed lambs, 4s 7d ; woolly ewes, 9s 3d ; woolly hoggets, 10s 6d ; shorn lambs, 3s 6d. Small pigs, 4s 6d.
