Customs Revenue.

INCREASE OF £47,503 FOR 1895. A comparative return of the Customs revenue for the years 1894 and 1895 is published in the Gazette issued yesterday. The figures are :— £1,619,970 for 1895, and £1,572,467 for 1894, showing au increase of £47,503 for 1895. Auckland contributes an increase of £41,808, and Wellington an increase of £11,377, while Dunedin and Lyttelton show decreases of £3461 and £650 respectively. — Times.
