Boating Accident at Kaipara.

TEN PERSONS DROWNED. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, January 12. A fatal boating accident occurred today at Eaipara, eight miles from Glorit, ten persons being drowned, namely, Mrs Perkins, Jessie Perkins 21, Nellie 17, Harold 14, Lottie 10, Mr and Master Armstrong, Mrs Reniatrick, Miss Josephine MacDermott 19. Constables Kelly and Williams are looking for the bodies. No details are given of the accident. Mr Perkins was a settler at Glorit ; Mr Armstrong a resident in the district ; Miss MacDermott was a daughter of Mr W. MacDermott, printer in the Herald Office. The two latter were on a visit to Mr Perkins. It is supposed that the party were in Perkins' boat and got capsized.
