■O 7— Ministers were in Cabinet for some time yesterday, and despatched a considerable amount of business. The following expenditures were authorised on road and railway works, &c : Mangaere Block (Stratford), £1500 ; Opaku-Kapara Block (Patea), £2000; Mohaka road, £360; Pukearuhe road, £600; Kawatua Block (Kiwitea), £1400; Wanganui River Trust, £1000; Longwood roads, £300; Ohingaiti to Tokaanu (Lake Taupo), £500; Kaitangata Block, £400; Bluff road, £JSOO.
