The jockey Stevenson, wbo rode Auraria in the Melbourne Cup, will not have the opportunity of riding that filly in the Chain? )jon Stakes, owing to being disqualified, at the Boxing Day Meeting for three months. Stevenson showed his contempt for tho crowd who made a demonstration against his horse by extending bis fingers from bis nose at them. Since the Wellington Park Stad has been in existence, the horses bred by Mr Morrin have won upwards of i.'103,000 in Stakes.
