CHARLES BRAY (Jmra.), Engineer Kiwitea Road Board MANCHESTER ROAD BOARDT^fOTICE is hereby given that the J^% following Special Order was proposed at a meeting of the Manchester Road Board held on Wednesday, 27th November, 1895, and it is proposed to confirm the same at a meeting of the above Board to be held on Saturday, the 4th day of January, 1896 .— Proposed Special Ordbe : That this Board (under the provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated 22nd January, 1890, authorising the Rangitikei County Council to charge the Manchester Road Board with one-third of the cost of managing and maintaining the Onepuhi Bridge over the Rangitikei River at Onepuhi) borrow the sun 1 , of £957 for the purpose of providing one-third of the cost of repairing tbe said bridge and protective works thereto in accordance with the above • mentioned Warrant ; and that a Special Rate of fiftieth of a penny in the £ be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown aqd Native lands occupied by Native owners excepted) within the Manchester Road District for the purpose of paying the interest on the above Loan of £957, to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886 ; " such rate to be annually recurring for 26 years and payable in equal instalments at the Board's office on the first days of April and October in each year.
