(Per Press Association.) Wellington, December 13. In the case of Fabian and Watts, accused of taking cancelled stamps off telegrams in the Government stares the jury after a short retirement returned a verdict of not guilty. Wm. Doyle and Edward Byan, charged with assault and robbery, were acquitted. Henry Coombes pleaded guilty to stealing goods from the warehouse of Sargood, Son and Ewen, and was remanded for the probation officer's report.
