The Chamber of Commerce has called the atentiou of Government that the time is drawing to a close in which the colony will bo able to join in the Japanese treaty. It urges Government to ascertain whether in national or commercial interests it as advisable to participate. Also to obtain the views of the other colonies with regard to nnited action.
