Nominations for all Handicaps, including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, 11th DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for* ward Postal notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and localities of such performances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, which can be made on the it round. Other events post entries. Colors must be named on nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z..A.A Association, and must produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur events will be run under the "JSew Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules." The Bicycle Races will be ran under the Rules of the JN ew Zealand Cyclists Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads: — " Every Competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded fr"xn taking part in the Sports." Any competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his des cnplion of his performances. The Committee may disqualify and competitor before or after any. event who Bhall refuse to meke the declaration, and he shall not be. entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each event or no first prize; three, or no second ; four or no third . Entries will be received and Sports conducted under the printed Rales of the Feilding Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, price, Is.
