Messrs Gorton and Son's report.— Through press of work we omitted to send any sale report for the last week or two ; the sales on the whole daring that period have been decidedly better, that at Feilding on Friday being brisk throughout. The quotations we giye below are for Feilding sale only. Cattle— Fat cows, L 4 17s ; forward bullocks, L4 l9s ; 2Jyear Steers L3Bs6d to L 3 15s ; 2Jyear heifers, L 2 15s to L2 lßs ; cows. L2 lss to L 8 10s , yearlings, LI 18s 6d to L24s ; weaners; to yearlings LI 15s ; calves, lls to 20s ; 18months mixed, L 2 7s 6d. Sheep — Fat shorn wethers, 8s ; shorn hoggets, 5s 9d to 6s 3d , fat shorn sheep, 6s 10d ; woolly hoggets, 8s 9d ; woolly ewes with lambs, 12s 3d ; f.m. woolly ewes, 9s lid.
