The Sydney Sensation.
SHERIDAN MAKES A CONFESSION (Per Press Association.) Sydney, November 25. Sheridan has made a written statement witnessed by his solicitor and the governor of the gaol, exonerating his partner Thomas. He alleges the latter knew nothing about the circumstances of the death of the woman Nicholls and that Thomas had only been connected with the " institute" a couple of weeks. Sheridan adds Thomas entered into partnership in the full belief that it was a legitimate medical practice, and that he remained without being enlightened. The confession also states that Nicholls was only a patient received for treatment.
