The Anglo-Japan Treaty.

(Per Press Association.) Napier, Not 18. At the Chamber of Commerce to-day tbo Chairman brought up the question of the new treaty Great Britain and Japan,, in which the "colonies have the right at joining until next year. He pointed out that in the near future Japan would offer a large market for wool and other produce, but it would not do for the colonies to risk invasion by Japanese cheap labor. The chambers of commerce and political organisations should discuss the matter % before next meeting of Parliament. The discussion was adjourned pending receipt of further information as to details of the treaty^^^^^^^^^
