Sale of St. Albans' Estate.

(Per Press \ssociation.) Melbourne, This DA"a. The St. Albans' estate, which was put up to auction, was purchased by W. R. Wilson for £24,000. He intends to continue to use the estate for stud purposes. Trenton was passed in at £7000, tbe reserve being £10,000. The offer of £7000 was made by a son of Sir Samuel Wilson, who contemplates forming a stud. Carnage was withdrawn at £1815 guineas. Robinson Crnsoe was also passed iv and probably will be shipped to New Zealand. Many of the yearlings realised satisfactory figures. The best price obtained being 230 guineas for the Trenton — Waiting Maid filly.
