F. R. Jackson and Co. report : We have no alteration in values of stock to report. At Waverley a fair entry came forward. At Wanganui, cattle were in usual numbers, but only a limited quantity of sheep were penned. Pigs sold at last sale rates. Cattle— At Waverley : Fat cows, £4 ss ; steers £3 to £3 3s ; 2-yr olds, £2 ss ; cows, L 2 18s ; yearlings, 30s to 355. At Wangauui : grown bullocks, £4 9s ; others, £2 17s to £3 9s ; fat cows L 4 10s to L 5 3s ; heifers, L 2 7s 6d ; yearlings 28s to 25s 6d. Sheep— At Waverley : Fat ewes 8s lOd ; hoggets, 7s 6d to 10s Bd. At Wanganui : Fat wothers in wool, 14s 6d ; shorn fat ewes, 6s 8d ; pigs, large pork, 20s to 245 ; porkers, 13s 6d to 17s 6d ; small pigs 7s to 9s.
