THE V.R.C. MEETING.
(Per Press Association.) Melbourne, October 11. There is every prospect of fine weather for the opening of the V.R.C. Meeting today : — v. Alpine, by St. George—Escapade, is, it is thought, likely to come strongly into the Caulfield Cup betting shortly.
