(Per Pre«s Association.) Wellington, Sept. 21 Iu tho Stipcucliary 3la^istrate's Court, two seamen belonging to ths ship Oauiaru were charged with broaching ergo. The evidence showed that while committing the offence the men had lit several caudles iu the vioiuity of forty -live tous of gunpowder.
