0 I (Per Press Association.) i Pkrth, Sep. 8. A fifty-three feet wide lodge was struck at the Kingsley Hall Reward claim, six miles south of the Broad Arrow mine. The stone is similar to that obtained in Hannan's. There^arc splendid prospects A rush has set in and five miles have been pegged out. Auckland, Sept 18. Negotiations with regard to this Queen of Beauty and Deep Sinker mines at the Thames concluded in London between the purchasers and vendors. The working capital is £125,000. The machinery, pumping, winding plant being prepared, subjest to the approval of the AgentGeneral, is capable of carrying mining operations to a depth of 3000 feet. The mine company floating is going on briskl)'. Five were floated today and one yesterday broke th i record, being formed in 3£ minutes.
