O (Per Press Association.) Mel-bottuxe, August 26. With reference to the question in the House of Commons relative to the inspection of frozen meat, the Premier considers it is highly desirable, as far as this Colony is concerned, that the Imperial Government be informed that the shipments '.finder the nnspice3 of the Agricultural Department' are carefully inspected. It also considers it ought not to be possible for any icieat to be shipped unless inspected by the Government Inspector ; further, that a small cuarge bo made on shippers to coyer expences of such inspection. •
