The Rise m Wool.
BRIGHTER PROSPECTS. (Per Press Association.) Melbourne, This Day. The Age, referring to a suggestion by the Statist that the rise in the price of wool is likely to lead to the investment of fresh capital in station properties, says no doubt the rise will materially strengthen the financial position of the colonies. Allowing for a drop at the third series of sales there has been an improvement in the past series of 12 g and 20 per cent on prices obtained at the opening sales this year, which is quite sufficient to warrant the Statist's comments. _______ _____
