Federal Bank Difficulties.
STARTLING STATEMENTS. (Per Press Association.) Melbourne, July 11. The Supreme Court, has sanctioned the collection of the whole unpaid capital of £240,000 of the Federal Bank of Australia. The outstanding liability is 30s per share, which is to be called np in 12 monthly instalments of 2s 6d. This Day. The liquidator of the Federal Bank has made an affidavit showing the debts still due are £1,254,000, exclusive of winding-up charges. • The assets, apart from money due by contributories, will not exceed £711,000, and he does not expect to realise above £50,000 froni calls now sanctioned,
