1 (Per Press Association.) Hawera, July 6. A meeting of the North Island members of the National Dairy As--1 sociation was held last evgning. It was decided to appoint five delegates to meet the South Island delegates to arrange conditions on which the Association for the colony shall be maintained. The principal conditions are that each Island shall manage its own affairs, but a general council to meet in Wellington, where the head office shall be to deal with general questions such as freight, railage, etc. The new executive for the North Island is mainly the same as last jear, with Farley (Auckland), Liardet (Stratford), Oldham (Patea), and Foreman (Hawera) added. During the season 1894-9e>, the National Dairy Association of New Zea T land shipped to London 3486 tons 16cwt of cheese, and 2274 tons scwt of butter.
