WOOL PRICES HIGHER. (Per Press Association.) London, June 6. Wool remains steady. American buyers are forcing the prices higher. The Antwerp sales will be held on 16th to 19th July. Some 7300 bales have been catalogued, but no Australian. July 7. In wool there is keen competition between the Home and American buyers. Buyer's price was well maintained. The N.Z.L. & M.A. Company have received the following cablegram, from their London office : — Tallow is dull of sale, Fine mutton is worth 23s 6d per cwt, and'gWd beef 21s per cwt. Expected arrivals arc in excess of requirements. Frozen meat — Market weak. Canterbury mutton ia worth Sjjcl, aud Wellington mutton, 3d per Ib. Prime New Zealand lambs are worth (per carcase) j|-jjc! per lb. Butter — (New Zealand) FiuG : ttualitier3 range in value from SOs to B'4s. f " "
