University Council Meeting.
(per press association.) WELiiNGTOff. This Day. The newly - constituted University Council for the central district held theic first meeting this morning. Mr Blair was elected chairman. It was dotermmod to send a deputation to tbo Government on the question of endowment aud to ask for the Mount Cook central prison as a site for the college.
