The new uniforms to be worn by Ne^ Zealand volunters will be—dark bine folcliug cap (to be worn in drill order) dark blue helmet with brass finish' (foi review order), dark blue Norfolk jackoi with scarlet cuffs and collar and yellow braid, badge N.Z. on epaulettes to dis tinguish from the English regular armywide trousers (to give greater ease ir kneeling), and leather garters over the top of which the trousers will be turnec down. All Volunteers will be expectec to wear strong lace-up boots. It is csti mated that the new outfit will cost £3 Corps which have at the present a gooc uniform will not be required to purchase the new uniform until their present ones are worn out. The Manchester Rifles will parade on Thursday evening, when Colonel Newall will inspect the corps.
