The Manager of the Bank of New Zealand recently informed Messrs Bethune and Hunter that the sum of £36 remained standing in the books to the credit of " George Hunter, Lancashire Eelief Fund." This money has been lying for thirty years in the Bank, and is supposed to be an amount paid in by some belated collector after the fund closed.
