Whole fowl wheat has advanced in sympathy with milling descriptions, find best samples are worth Us 4d ex stores Wellington. Oats — Prime short oats, Is 7d to Is 8d : stout feed, Is 6d to Is 7d ; Danish, Is 7d : duns. Is 8d to Is 9d. Potatoes — Advices from the South have a more encouraging tone, with a tendency to improve values. — Choice Oamaru Derwents, 45s to 47s 6d ; Canterbury, 45s ; Blenheim and Kaikoura, 85s to 42s 6d per ton. Eggs — Consignments have largely increased, and values have declined in consequence. Be»t fresh Is lOd to Is lid; limed and preserved, Is to Is Id per doz. Butter —Market firm. Prime separator 9d : prime dairj r , 6|d to 7Jd; prime salt, 7d ; pastry, 4d to 5d per Ib. Cheese — Prime factory, 4^d ; loaf size, 4d to s : |d ; Akaroa. 4}d to 4^d per lb. Poultry— Turkeys, 5s ; geese. 4s ; ducks Bs to 3s 3d ; fowls, 2s 3d to 2s 6d per pair. Flour — In sympathy with wheat values has advanced 10s per ton. Best brands are quoted at 10s per ton.
