MANCHESTER KOAD BOARD. -\JOTIOE is hereby given that it is J^ the intention of the Manchester Road Board to establish a FERRY across the Manawatu Paver, Otangaki, known as " The Lower Gorge Ferry," and that the following scale of Tolls be charged on and after the Ist clay of June, 1895 : — For every Passenger, 6d For every Horse, and Man in charge, Is For every additional Horse or head of great Cattle (up to twenty), 9d For every additional Horse or head of great cattle over twenty, Od For every Sheep, Goat, or other small cattle.except Pigs (up to one hundred), 2d For every additional Sheep, Goat, or other small cattle, except Pigs, lcl For every Pig, 6d For every Vehicle on two wheels, with or without springs, drawn by one horse or head of great cattle (driver included), 2s Cd For every additional Horse or head of great cattle drawing same, Od For a Mail Coach (driver included), 2s Gd ; and also 9d for every horse more than one drawing the same For every Vehicle with more than two wheels v 'except a mail coach), with or without springs, drawn by one horse or head of great cattle (driver included), 3s Gd For every additional Horse or head of great cattle drawing same, 9d For every Bicycle or Tricycle, rider included, ono shilling. The man in charge of the Ferry may demand to have any portion of a load unloaded before taking the vehicle on the punt, and any part ot a load so unloaded will be charged for in addition to the above scale at the rate of '3d per cwt. for goods and 6d per 100 foot for timber.
