The Stock Market.
Messrs P. E. Jackson report :— The yards at Waverley were quite full of stock, but prices were without alteration We sold nearly all that came forward. At St-Hill street more stock were penned than were advertised, and though prices were no better the sole was brisker, selling a good number under the hammer, but we ultimately sold all the sheep except one pen of lambs. Pigs were in large supply, selling slightly under last sales rates. At Waverley — Bullocks L 4to L 4 10s ; milch cows, L 3 15s to Ls4s ; -weaners, 27s 6d to 295. At Si, Hill-street— Small fat bullocks, L 5 12s 6d; cows, Lo los 6d to L 3 19s ; forward bullocks, L 4 ; steers, Lo Is 9d ; milch cows. L 3 10s to L(5.
