"■■ " O ■ ' Mr C. Carr reports : — I held another very successful sale at Feilding yesterday, and a noticeable feature about it was the large attendance, among whom were buyers from up the Coast. Although there was no change in prices, and bidding was slack, yet I quitted all the sheep (numbering 6000 — principally wethers) after the sale. Cattle showed a downward tendency, and the majority were passed out unsold, the number yarded being 400 head. Cattle — Forward bullocks, £4 5s to £4 7s ; cows, 30s to £3 ss ; weaners, 10s to 255 ; 18-months steers, £2 7s 6d to £2 10s ; milch cows, £4 10s to £5. ' Sheep— Wethers, 5s to 7s; fat wethers, 7s 5d to 7s 6d ; ewes, f.m., 8s to 4s ; culls, Is 6<3 ,' lambs, shorn, lid io 4s 3d ; woolly, 2s lid to 4s 3d ; mixed 2-tooths, 5s 3d ; 2-tooth Eomney ewes, 7s 3d.
