Freeman R. Jackspn and Co. report The yards at Waverley were fairly well filled with both cattle and sheep, and we placed nearly all that came forward. At Wanganui yards yesterday bidding was better than of late, and we sold nearly all oat. Prices are without change. Quotations : — Cattle — At Way. crley: Forward bullocks, £4 4s; good steers, £3 4s to £3 19s 6d ; calves, 14s ; weaners, 25s to 2Qs. At Wanganui I Fat cows, .£3 6s to £3 17s 6d ; store bul. locks, £3 12s 6d tp £3. 15s ; steers, £2 ; calves, 15s. Sheep— At Waverley : Fat ewes, 7s 8d ; young breeding ewes, 6s to 6s 3d ; old ewes, 2s to 2s 6d ; steer wethers, 7s; lambs, Is 4d. At Wanganui : Wethers, 7s 9d to 8s 8d ; young owes, 6s to 7s 2d ; others, 4s 2d to 5s lOd ; old ewes, Is to 2s Id ; lambs, la 8d to 2s 9d ; rams, 7s 6d to 20s. PigsSmall baconers, 26s 6d to 30s; good porkers, 19s to 235 ; small porkers, 14s 6d to 16s ; small pigs, 5s 6d to 6s 3d.
