Lawn Tennis.
The return match Feilding v. Palmerston will be played on the local courts on Saturday next. The Feilding team is the same as that sent to Palmerston on the 16th, but in the match on Saturday two ladies from each club will play. The Palmerston team will be slightly altered Mr Crump playing as third maa and Keeling going out. The teams are as follows : i — Palmerston — Mrs Abraham and Mrs Eussell, and Messrs Koch, Cox, Crump, Connell, Brandon and Webster. Feilding:— Mrs Hartgill, Miss H. Lewis and Messrs Barton, Dyer,' "Gooie, Richmond, Giesen and Brabant. Palmerston are sending a team even stronger than that which played on the 16th, and the local team will have to fight hard to regain their lost laurels. A big muster is expected on the ground, and the ladies are reminded of the part they are to take in providing refreshments on tournament day. In the courts on Satnrday last Mrs . Hill beat Miss Gregory m the handicap event 6—4 and 6—4. ' The days are drawing in now and players still in the club tournament must arrange with their respective opponents to play off the events as soon as possible ' so the tqurnaments can be gpt through ' before the clo.se of the season.
