A young man named Tasker, who just came into a fortune of £170,000 is suing iStreeter and Co. the well-known jewellers for for jewellery bought and not delivered. During the hearing of the case it came out Tasker bad purchased articles to the value of in a few weeks. February 24. Tasker 's purchases included the famous Agra diamond, for which he gave £'15,000, and seven others, the cost of which was £30,000. He gave £30,000 for the Hope diamond. Streeter and Co. deny that certain purchases claimed by Tasker were ever made.
