* LARGE BUSINESS DOING IN STOCKS. (Per Press Association.) Sydney, This Day. Investments in stock continue very firm. Large business is being done, and the market has an upward tendency. The Sydney Morning Herald, referring to the rise in the market says it is the beginning of a restoration of confidence in the bankiug institution, and had its course in the improved tone prevailing in Melbouone with regard to the reconstructed banks.
