Prime short oats, Is 9d to Is 10£ d ; good long feed, Is 7d to Is 8d ; black tartars, Is lOd Oatmeal, £9 to £9 10s, according to brand Oaten sheaf chaff (old straw) is fairly plentiful at 70s to 72s 6d for best and 653 for fair samples. Maize, 2s 4d to 2s nd ; beans 3s ; bine peas, 3s ; feed barley, 23 3d ; pearl barley, 17s ; ryegrass, 3s 6d to 4s per bushel ; cocksfoot, 3d to 4d per lb Potatoes are being supplied direct to con. euiners by Hutt farmers and consequently iisual trade is stagnated, with prices ruling from £2 to £2 10s per ton. Onions are easier at £1 lQs per ton, and we look for a further fall during the coinin«- week Egg* are more plentiful and 10d per dozen is full value Hams and bacon, 6M to 7d.
