The 'Frisco Mail Steamer.

(Per Press Association.) Aucelam), Jauuary 28. Among the passengers by the Mariposa, from London, is a proprietor of the New Zealand Herald, Mr Horton, Jas. Russell (son of Thomas Russell), and H. B. Stafford. The latter two gentlemen are about to pay a visit to the Waihi Gold Mining Company's property. The Mariposa did not reach port till Saturday night owing to the bad weather. She left for San Francisco on Sunday morning.
