A very enjoyable match was pla>ed on the local c üb's courts yesterday, when tho players were favored with a perfect tl'iy'for tennis. The Wanganui team arrived by the 10.55 train, and after an early lunch started play- At the con elusion of the match Feilding proved victorious by a total of 48 games, but it is only fair to state thnt Wanganui had not their best tpnm, and the train journey down, and strange ground tended to put off pla considerably, Mrs Barton provided afternoon tea on the courts, it being much appreciated by players and spectators.
