The Half-Holiday.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, January 14. The Public Works Committee of the City Council decided to instruct their delegates to the conference next week to support the Wednesday half-holiday. It is considered that Wednesday will be selected. Auckland, January 14. There is great feeling between the town and suburban shopkeepers as to the choice of Wednesday or Saturday for tbe holiday. _.
