The Midland Railway.
[Per Press Association.] London, January 9. At a meeting of tbe New Zealand Midland Railway Company, Mr Salt, chairman, strongly denounced the New Zealand Government, whose treatment of the Company he characterised as outrageous. Sir Bruce Burnside has been appointed as arbitrator on behalf of the Company. Mr Salt leaves for New Zealand on Friday to give evidence.
