The weather turned out more promising for to-day's races and the attendance ! was again very good. Following are the results up to the time of our going to press ; — The Shorts, of 40 soys ; second horse to receive 5 soys. from the stakes ; five furlongs. Mr W. H. Fergus' Cheque, 7st 111 b (W. The first to movo on tho fall of tho liag was Prestige with Choque last away. Coming into the straight Choquo moved fn front and aftes a splendid race with the whips out won by a short length. Totalisator £836, j on winner Dividend, i' 3 6s. Time, ltuin 7sec. Second Handicap Hurdles, of 04 boys. ; over six flights of hurdles; second horse to receive 5 soys. from the stakes ; one mile and a half. Mr 3. Freeth'a Revolt, lOst 41b (Arnott) ... 1 Mr D. Osmau got the best of a good start, but Revolt led past tho stand for tho first time. Racing round the course Bonovoreo and Revolt were leaving Osmau behind, the winner jumping splendly.
